In 1971, a small congregation by the name of Faith Bible Church began meeting in Oak Cliff. Over the years, the size of that body of believers has grown significantly in the communities southwest of Dallas.

Now located in DeSoto, Texas, the “church” is not the building; it is the people—people who worship the living God, who are instructed in the Bible, who fellowship with and minister to each other, who proclaim the message of Jesus Christ's death and resurrection, and who are in the process of discipleship.

We are a denominationally unaffiliated local church. We believe that the Bible is God's holy and inspired Word. We, therefore, draw from the Scriptures the principles that determine our beliefs and practices.

We seek to accomplish these priorities of ministry for the glory of God.
