To Know God Personally:

1. Recognize that God loves you.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

2. Realize that you are a sinner.

The Bible says, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

3. Confess your sins.

"When we confess that we have sinned before God, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

4. Receive Jesus Christ into your heart by faith.

"For by grace you are saved, through faith, and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works lest anyone should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
