HEALTH INSPECTOR'S PERSPECTIVE
What a great message for a health inspector. In Leviticus there is a lot of cleaning [H.I. says Yea!]
But behind that is the burdens of ritual.
In Mark, we have the twelve eating with unwashed hands [H.I. says Hey!] But the pundits are less interested in the health aspect as they are in the ritual of washing. Jesus reminds them [us] it's what comes out of us that matters.
Psalms has us knowing that sin can over take us [unclean], and praying for God to deliver us [clean] without delay!
Proverbs reiterates what comes out of you is your story of God's work in your life.
